As part of my weekly Wedding Wednesday blogs I want to start sharing some of my favorite venues with you all! Since I work all over the world there will be many of them but let’s start with PA. PA has so many hidden gems, so many unique places to get married and I want to share my favorites with you.
This is without a doubt at the very top of my list! Promise Ridge is the absolute definition of having a wedding day with intention. From the way Alisa officiates to the way the food is served is all done with intention and care. This is one of the best options out there for couples who want an intimate and intentional day. The space only holds about 20 people so you and sitting down to dinner in their lovely space is a lot like sitting down for a thanksgiving meal with family. Not to mention their views on top of the mountains are incredible! I wish I was getting married now instead of in 2014 so I could get married here, for real! If you are looking for a simple and intimate day you need to check this space out. I promise you it will make for a memorable and beautiful day!
Address: 5353-5319 Hickory Cir, Stroudsburg, PA 18360
2. Grandview Vineyards
I mean who wouldn’t want to be married at a vineyard? How much more romantic can you get? Not only are the grounds absolutely enchanting but everyone who works there is just lovely. I loved my time photographing here so much! It’s such a great space for unique couples to really create something special! The magic is all there, once you bring in your personalized touch and decor it’s such a jaw dropping beauty! If you want something romantic and unique I would highly recommend going to check this venue out.

3. Duke Art Gallery
Want some UK fairytale castle ambiance? Duke Art Gallery is the place to be! I mean look at how enchanting that ceremony space is! I’m feeling Rapunzel vibes! And the light just hits magically and really takes this location to the next level! It’s romantic, unique and oh so fun! It doesn’t take much to make this venue one of the prettiest weddings your friends will attend this year. It’s a showstopper for sure! Go check it out and put your own unique spin on it!
Address 414 Plush Mill Road
4. Stokesay Castle & The Knight Pub
You want a full on castle? You can have it! This venue is great for a baller couples who want want something epic for their day. The couple above actually hired a fire dancer as entertainment for their guest. I mean how badass can you be? I was in love! The food was also AMAZING! Pup food can go two ways, meh or mindblowing. If you want to live in a fantasy for your wedding day in an actual castle you should come see this stunning venue!
Address: 141 Stokesay Castle Ln, Reading, PA 19606
5. Pump House Weddings and B&B
I absolutely adore Pump House, if I photographed a wedding there every weekend I would still never be bored. It’s just got that earthy, romantic and enchanting vibe that wraps you up and makes you want to stay forever. Honestly year round it’s a gorgeous place to get married. The reception space is an old factory so it’s not only gorgeous but so unique and then the ceremony space is right on the edge of the river in the middle of the woods. I can’t even handle how perfect it is. If I was planning my wedding again this would be at the very top of my list for my own venue as well as Promise Ridge. Check it out, you will thank me later.
Address: 623C State Rd, Bloomsburg, PA 17815
6. Terrain at Styer’s
This last venue on the list is one I have not had the opportunity to shoot at yet but am dying to. I’m obsessed with this venue and it’s eccentric & lovely look. It’s outdoor space is to die for but it also has an equally gorgeous indoor space in case of weather. It’s definitely a great venue for more artsy couples, very bohemian vibes. If you are wanting to plan a wedding here I am willing to give you a special offer for your wedding photography because I love this venue! So if that’s you don’t hesitate to reach out, I will hook you up. 😉

Our daughter was married in May at The Duke Art Gallery and it was oh so romantic and charming and perfect! And our son was married this past November at the Pump House B & B and it was different but equally charming, and romantic! Two weddings in one year and both were perfect!
