A Charming Chic & Rustic Barn Wedding

This charming chic barn wedding had the perfectly subtle Christmas influences so I wanted to share it with you as we are only five days away from Christmas! Julie and Matt were one of my favorite couples this year not only because they are just awesome people but because they are such grateful and kind people. I just love their love story! They bonded over the loss of someone very close to them, Julie it was her dad and for Matt it was both of his parents. It was truly beautiful to see how these tragedies brought them together and built a strong and loving relationship.

Julie and Matt were wed as the sunset at The Farm At Glistening Pond (which is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues in PA) and it was absolutely gorgeous! And I don’t just mean the beautiful sunset glow but the emotion expressed by all. I just about broke down at Matt’s reaction to seeing Julie walking down the aisle and I most definitely did cry as they exchanged vows.

It came as no surprise to me that such kind and genuine people drew to them such awesome and wonderful friends and family for their special day. It was certainly an absolutely gorgeous day filled with tears of joy, lots of laughter and a TON of dancing. 🙂 It’s kinda my favorite when people really get into it on the dance floor at weddings. And listening to the kind words shared about both Julie and Matt from their loved ones speeches just warmed my heart.

I just loved the subtle Christmas influence in their decor which is the perfect excuse to skip ahead and share this amazing day with you all! Julie has the perfect balance of chic and edgy style that I just adored! And can we talk about her gorgeous Hayley Paige dress! I’m pretty sure my heart leaped out of my chest when I saw it hanging in her getting ready room. You may think I’m being over dramatic but save your judgements till you scroll down and see the dress 😉

I am so honored that I got to be Julie and Matt’s photographer and so blessed that my job allows me to meet such kind and genuine people. I’ll never get over it. It is the single best thing about my job, meeting all of you and witnessing your love. Thank you to all my 2017 brides and Merry Christmas!
